Keyboard shortcuts
MindWeaveBoard is keyboard-first by design. Every tool has a single-letter shortcut. Once the muscle memory locks in, the toolbar effectively disappears.
Shortcuts use Cmd on macOS, Ctrl on Windows and Linux. Single-letter shortcuts work whenever your cursor is on the canvas (not in a text input).

Tips
- Don't release Space while panning. The hand tool is press-and-hold. Releasing snaps you back to whatever tool was active before.
- Marquee-select then nudge with arrow keys for fine alignment. Shift + arrow moves in 10-pixel increments.
- Esc twice clears any selection AND closes any open panel — useful when you're not sure what state the canvas is in.
Mobile
Single-letter shortcuts assume a physical keyboard. On phones and tablets, use the toolbar tools and pinch / two-finger pan / two-finger rotate gestures. Most multi-step keyboard flows are also reachable from the right-click context menu.
