Inviting your team
You've created your account and made your first board. Now it's time to bring your team in. This page covers the standard "invite a colleague to your organisation" flow.
For inviting people from outside your organisation (clients, partners, consultants) see Sharing with guests.
Open the Members page
From the dashboard, click Org Admin → Members (or your name in the top-right → Manage organisation). The page lists everyone already in your organisation and shows your current seat usage against your plan limit.
TIP
On the Personal plan you have two seats total — that's you and one other. On Starter and above, seats are unlimited and billed per user.
Send an invitation
Click Invite member. Enter the teammate's work email, pick a role (see below), optionally add a short personal note, and click Send invitation.
They receive an email with an Accept invitation button. The button takes them to a sign-up flow scoped to your organisation — they pick a password, optionally set up two-factor authentication, and land on your dashboard.
Pending invitations appear on the Members page with a Resend and Cancel option. Invitations expire after 72 hours; you can resend if it lapses.
Picking the right role
Three organisation-level roles to choose from:
- Org Admin — full control over the organisation. Can manage members, change billing, see audit logs, archive workspaces.
- Editor — the standard role. Can create boards and workspaces, edit anything they have access to.
- Viewer — read-only across the organisation. Useful for stakeholders who need visibility without authoring rights.
You can change someone's role at any time from their row in the Members list.
Workspace and board access
Adding someone to the organisation gives them access to public workspaces and any workspace they're explicitly invited to. By default new members only see the default workspace.
To put a new hire onto a specific project, after they accept the invitation:
- Open the workspace they need access to.
- Members → Invite with their email.
- Pick a workspace role.
Removing a member
From the Members list, click ⋯ → Remove from organisation. They lose access immediately. Their boards transfer to their organisation Owner by default — you can re-assign before the removal if you'd like a specific person to inherit.
WARNING
Removing a member also revokes their access to every board they were on as a member. Boards they were a guest on (i.e., shared by another org) are unaffected.
